Its refreshing to see someone who is not like “Now lets split the bass into 37 segments, 10HZ each, use 8 compressors on each and 15 EQ’s, resample 5 times so you can run it through this external gear... and I am telling you, you can’t do otherwise..” simplicity wins!

Absolutely love this guy's own music, his live mixes (even caught him live once ), and just the general music his labels puts out. A DnB legend in my book.

Klute is one of the most talented Music Producers and has been for decades. The guys music is truly wonderful and consistently original.......................... The first DnB record I ever bought was Leo 9 / Blackout in 1997 and its still sounds amazing nearly quarter of a Century later............................ Nothing but love and respect for this guy.

Big Respect Klute you are legend 52 and still DNB ...just wow!!
@slava_q1004 жыл бұрын
Klute sure is a legend, but for whatever reason, this feels like CM vid from 2007 :) probably because of a bedroom studio and him being so shy :)

Klute you're a legend and I will forever be thankful for Hell Hath No Fury. I keep listening to it throughout the years and it never gets old. Bigups!

Wait, you’re telling me that some of the best DnB I’ve ever heard over the past 20 yeas was made in this bedroom studio on this jankie gear? That’s it, I’m never spending another dollar on equipment. “Saviour” is still one of my fav songs of all time. Timeless classic.

Absolutely true my friend :) All about the vibe and so much less about having the newest most fantastic plugins...
@Vospi4 жыл бұрын
Gear never made tunes. Just enabled some of them. Klute has a rather sample-oriented workflow, so I suppose it's not very demanding.
@Vospi4 жыл бұрын
By the way, there's no telling that Savior was done here and on this (probably on something much, much older), but the tune is certainly not demanding technologically. Just everything in its place (I love it too, as Hell Hath No Fury).

Until I saw the newer hardware I thought.. “is this one of the old dnb masterclasses you guys had like 10 years ago?” Klute! I got a few of his records laying around from back in the day. Great producer. He’s been at it for ages!
@yossarian16334 жыл бұрын
For me a top 5 DnB producer of all time, genre I've been a fan of since late 90s. Prolific and quality producer. Speaking of dnb producers who still make quality stuff Goldie's latest lp is really something else, really digging that one, or I think it's his latest, 'The Journeyman.' Not enough musicians producers still have that signature style and do their own thing, too many fall into well tread molds imo. Klute another rare exception to that rule.

Wanna know why KLUTE is of the best to ever do it, in DnB game???? Because he's the best, F'ing drummer ever! Check him out, singing/drums- THE STUPIDS and trip out like I am rn, (Jesus meets the stupids, 1987, fav album) seriously the best skate rock band of all time! WHAT A LEGEND!

Fuckin' DnB machine with 52, and yes... he is shy but what he says is also better than those modern producer have said in their entire producer life... and also being humble. However, I have to say that the other producers are younger and I understand they do not want to share too many secrets from their productions.
