Could someone please answer a question or two about using Computer Magazine software? I am a subscriber and have access to on-line files: software (actual programs), videos and tutorials. I am a total neophyte to computer music in general and need as much tutoring as possible. My question is this: how do I use the “tutorial” and “video” files. They are not stand alone. I do not understand how to use. Thanks for any help.

To the point of losing an entire DAW project file because of it, yeah super weird. I can see losing an entire project and then some with a hard drive failure, but at that point your not just losing a project, you're reinstalling an operating system (after you get a new hard drive of course).

@@nikku1166 yes, my point here is that macs are advertised as a more stable and reliable system than windows computers, hence the premium price (among other things). But I've been a windows user for close to 20 years and all the software crashes I've had I can probably count with my fingers.
