my husband is a baby Stay - and according to him, SKZ has the best use of auto-tune/voice filters he's ever heard (and he was born in the 60s, he's heard a bunch of music). They have so much talent, anything they do production wise just adds to the flavor. Can't wait to see them live next year!

You have to react more to their mvs to be able to get a better hold of their talents. They have evolved so much from their debut but still having their own colors.

Not only Stray Kids make their music with self expressing their thought and idea, they also made to impact others. Many of us Stays are so thankful to have their music as our house and bases. That is why Stray Kids is going for the long haul. Without being satisfy with their own expression of their own music, you can't satisfy or impact other in the long run.

There is a new interview come out just last week about the meaning of their song. Easy was brought up and Chan had a detailed explanation about the making of this MV. I forgot the title of this interview but it is some what about "Stray Kids discussing their song meaning". You can look it up.

I enjoyed hearing your thinking on this. Fwiw, the auto-tune in this one 1) yeah, sounds great, so yay! But 2) also actually ties into a specific theme. If you watch the logo at the end of their vids, the "K" in SKZ changes colors in different vids. The entire thing is complicated and not fully necessary to dump on you here, but the significant part is that there are...universes/concepts/moods/whatever for different colors. For instance, with the new album, we've suddenly gained a pink universe for the first time in 4.5 years, and it's for the fluffy lovey feels that they've never done before. Blue and red cover a lot of their self-boosting and braggadocios songs. Yellow/orange is honestly hard to explain. And green -- like for "Easy" -- is the weird, creepy, slightly off-kilter universe. The other primary song of the green universe (up until ODDINARY happened) was "Any" -- and they did the same thing in that: really overt, heavy auto-tune to make things sound not only cool but also slightly weird, slightly alien, slightly "not them." I've always really enjoyed the subtle, almost hidden details like that that SKZ uses, the stuff they integrate and which adds so many layers of interest for people heavily invested in the storylines and concepts and whatnot, but which can be missed by most people without depriving them of the chance to enjoy the music on its own merits.

i noticed this too before and so glad that it's not me just overanalysing it and that we're on the same page

I did notice the color of it changing but I didn't realize it tied into the mood of the song. That's so cool!

You react to SKZ and I promise I'll watch it. I love this song just as much as their title tracks. So glad you enjoyed it! One of absolute favorites SKZ songs is Chronosaurus which I think is underrated. Chan's vocals are hauntingly beautiful.

There is a dance practice for easy on their KZbin channel that I highly recommend because while there is a lot of dancing in the mv there’s also so much that gets missed and it’s so fun to appreciate every little detail of the choreography in the dance practice video

I think you might really like their song the Tortoise and the Hare. I hope you listen to it. It on my daily play list. Make sure you watch a lyric video or a breakdown video like from @itsAndyandJaz it's sooo good

going dumb, their collab song will also hit you with the same side effect of autotune coz we really messed up with who's singing what 😂 (one of the reaons i stanned skz is coz their voices are identifiable so i agree with you haha) - and omg yes, the thought process behind their production is intriguing haha, watching the Intro videos when they talk about how they came up with the songs and even a few snippets to their recording is something i suggest for you to watch even on your own.

Easy has become one of my top favorite songs. And I have watched the "practice video" (which I highly recommend) so many times that I can enjoy the choreo remembered when I listen to it, lol This is also true for several songs, but I think this song has this experience much more than others. Oh boy... so, you haven't gotten to the rap-rap yet. 😄 First, you'll need to get ahold of some the 3RACHA songs. They're not only the producing unit, but also they were a rap group prior to SKZ being fully formed. And they get all up in the rap. They have a newer song called 3RACHA. More rap heavy songs: Tortoise & the Hare, Maze of Memories, Muddy Water, Double Knot, Domino, Venom, & Freeze (this one starts with the whole rap line.) Victory Song is a great one for rap & Felix throwing down.
