I feel as though Zayn really isn't like other artists in terms of he creates music not to make sure he will top charts. he has a different definition of success in what he wants to achieve, he doesn't want to be in the category of a 'celebrity' he creates music he likes if you like, like it if you don't he don't care, because he's happy making that music. he doesn't do promo or go to those interviews because it's not who he is. honestly, I find him very interesting if anyone wants to know a glimpse of who zayn is read his magazine interviews

Icarus Falls is a really great album but like you said it's not an album made for the charts or the radio. But that's what makes me love it more, because it's just about music. And he did an album and music and sound that he likes that's fair enough. The only thing I regret is that his vocal is not well known enough.

Zayn is undoubtedly one of the best vocalists of this generation. And the way he goes about making music is so interesting. You can definitely tell he's in it JUST for the music and none of the fame. It's music for the music and it's an amazing album to just listen to while chilling. It's honestly so far from what i usually listen to, but everytime i put it on to listen to one particular song, i end up listening to the whole thing without even realising it.

Zayn’s music is not only to be listened to but also read and understood. Zayn creates high quality music, his music is thick music; you have good tastes and high musical standards. Icarus Falls is (for me) the most beautiful album and it’s a shame that people label him as an evil person when, in fact, he’s a wonderful man capable of creating wonders.
