Let’s take a moment to appreciate how hard it must have been to film this video at the ending scene as Harry would have had to be quite skilled at controlling his own rational fear of drowning....I mean tilting your head back underwater without snorting bubbles out of your nose to manage the airway equilibrium is extremely hard, yet he maintains his cool. Then add in the intensity of conveying the song’s emotion whilst “singing” to the track, MINDBLOWING!

A couple of gold nuggets In this video: When Harry is lookin up as he becomes totally submerged in the water, his face momentarily morphs into teenage Harry. A rebirth of sorts. A resurrection. The opening scene of Harry-he is wet and exhausted, but he has survived the heartbreak. The video then flashes back to show the journey he endured. Finally, about midway through the video, the window shutters suddenly fling open. Barely visible, a shadowy outline of the Eiffel Tower appears-A nod to his French former girlfriend who left him heartbroken 😞.

Blake Thanks for your thoughts on this amazing song from Harry Styles. I am much older than the majority of your audience and Harry's as well but I am forever enthralled by the talent Harry possesses. Like you I find the tone and timber of Harry's voice intoxicating and the artistry of this video is superb. As excellent as this video is however, Harry's live performance at the Brit Awards earlier this year is absolutely breathtaking and adds layers of emotion that cannot be matched.
