Just to clarify. A skeleton is a movement that been skeletonized. As in most parts are purposefully minimized and the indices are integrated into the movement or a sapphire/see through dial.

Omega started in 1848 known as La Generale Watch Co and in 1903 changed its name to omega a much older brand than Rolex who started in 1905 as Wilsdorf and Davis then changed its name in 1915 to rolex. When they were showing the Omega and talking about buying pre-owned being better,as long as it's through an authorized dealer, I'll tell you that is so important if you want to sell it. Yes, you can get great deals from an individual. Let's say the Omega is 6 grand at the AD shop, and the individual is willing to sell the exact same watch for 4 grand, yes it's a huge deal but if the price goes up a good bit and big collectors want one, it's so important that because you didn't go through the AD shop , half the number of buyers interested in your watch now will not buy.

What I love about Kevins view on watches is that it is more the merrits of the watch than the brand. Micro brands, low cost watches are all within his interest if they deliver on what he likes. Dial dial dial and red band.
