Lexi have you always known that you were good at music? 2 years that's pretty cool to learn how to play a guitar that good that quick. when I was a kid when I was taking guitar, I picked it up real quick and I was doing real good at it but I wanted to play the drums so I totally ignore the guitar for years played the drums and every time I picked up a bandmates guitar I could remember all the stuff and still be able to play the stuff I learned when I was a kid but I decided when I was 59 to start learning how to play the guitar again and it's not easy when you're older, it's not easy so good for you to get it done when you were young because if you waited till you with 59 it would have been harder God bless you and keep on a rocking

That does sound good, and although I think maybe you mixed it out of your final production, the sound of the fingers sliding on the frets really appeals to my ears. I think it reminds me of some songs on Tracy Chapman's eponymous album, and maybe also I'm thinking of Eric Clapton's acoustic versions of some of his songs, like Tears in Heaven. I wonder if they used a similar guitar. I did not know of the name Burrows or Burroughs. Direct sound like you'd get a better raw sound from anything more expensive, if that's "entry-level", as you say!

Hi Lexi, have you done anything more with this? I was going to suggest that with the palm muted notes; Add a note or notes going up an octave so then you have an arpeggio in the background; See what that sounds like. You "face punch" bass sample reminds me of the opening to, City of Love by Yes on their 90125 album. 👍

I know you won't respond but When writing a song, you should always play it for Google and see if it matches anything. Sometimes we write songs that get stuck in our heads. I did this with Pink Floyd.
