Amazing, thanks for breaking it down and this helps me to focus on what I need to do to become a product designer. I have been a graphic designer for 10 years and UX intrigues me a bit but after a taster day I was with all the research etc and this is where product comes in, its the perfect mix of both and I think this is where my career is going toward. Any advice about how to break into the field from being a graphic designer? Keep up the good work.

Great video, you've got a subscriber in me, haha. Do you think there could be something like "Ideate" between Execute and Strategise? I feel like there's that step missing, and I would put co-design and co-creation there, but I'm curious about how would you break that down. Cheers!

Thank you Cristian! And great point too… In this video Alvin simplified it into 3 categories to make it easy for most people to understand. On step 2 (Strategise), there are points like Design Thinking workshops and Facilitation… Co-design and Co-creation can be considered part of those topics too, under Strategise - when you start going out of purely execution/production work and start facilitating, co-designing and strategising. Hi João, no you don’t need a degree. You can typically start as a UX designer, UI designer, Graphic Designer, or even Interior Designer. You just need experience in digital product design field. This normally comes within UI/UX design most of the time.
