HELP when i do this. cmd thing. and press enter i dont get my Product Key numbers. It's just empty. all i see is the other things. but no numbers below that. it's empty. What is going on!

I followed your video, but for whatever reason, the product key did not come up. When the desktop was assembled (it is an ASUS motherboard, just a simple desktop, with no games, or funny things), Windows XP Pro was installed, and it was upgraded to Windows 8 (and I still have the Windows 8 original disk), and subsequently further upgraded to Windows 10 (this time, digitally). What actually happened was, my computer is quite old, and crashed a couple of times everyday, and so I want to reformat the OS, but before I can do anything, I need the Windows 10 Pro (64-bit) Product Key. Can you please help?

make a boot drive for windows 10 in a pendrive. format your computer. then boot the windows from that pendrive. it doesnt require a product key. and create a backup if you have any important stuff on your pc.

go into settings, if it's not activated it should have a text asking you to do it in the bottom. click it, look for the option to enter the key, enter the key and you're all set
