honestly it really is amazing how far tech has come to maintain driveability to keep a car driving as "normal" while being heavily modded, idk if I will ever buy this but thought id just throw in that thought

Hey Ike, that's part of the premise behind the Loki kit. While it is still a bit more than the budget kit, it's substantially less than the Odin kit and shares the same head unit.

This is my next perches. I have a vmp gen 3r on my 17 mustang. I want to be able to run e85 and a smaller pully. I have a 88mm pully now and make around 670wheel. I want to be in the 850wheel. VMP for the win.

@VMPPerformanceTV Жыл бұрын
Absolutely! As soon as the car is no longer a daily and I'm not dependent on it getting me out and back to the shop every day. I could run the car on 93 with the fuel system, but it's entirely too much temptation for me.... ~JD

Would this also work on a turbo car?
@VMPPerformanceTV3 жыл бұрын
This system is designed to work with any vehicle that features an aftermarket fuel rail with a -8AN feed. Aftermarket rails are not included in this kit and we have a few options available for those that need them for a turbo/nitrous or any other car that'd use a stock style intake manifold configuration.

Just got this kit for my 18 GT the kit I got is not the same one that you show here and I have your fuel rails. It will not work. Why did you guys change the kit. Now I have to spend more money and fittings to try to make it work.

I got this kit last May of 2020, but this kit looks better. I hope i didn't get short changed between this new kit and the old kit back in may of 2020. This Hat looks way better than Hat that came with old system. What's big difference between my old vmp return style fuel system and this new one. Bummer man.
@VMPPerformanceTV3 жыл бұрын
No one got shortchanged, products like this just take time and the right circumstances/relationships to bring to market. You'll note a price increase from the previous version of our plug and play system to this newest version and that covers the increased cost of the fuel pump module/hat. That is the biggest difference in the previous system versus this one.

I have older kit too. Have you had any problems with original vmp return style fuel system since you installed it?
@VMPPerformanceTV3 жыл бұрын
If your current system is meeting your needs, you should be fine. The biggest difference is the hat system we designed in partnership with DW. It is a very nice piece and the reason the kit cost increased.

With fore you will get fuel starvation if you go under half a tank. For 1100 whp or less this seems better.
