Product Review: Molotow Grafx Aqua Ink Pump Softliner

Eyo were coming at ya with another product review, this week on the molotow grafx aqua ink pump softliner. It’s unlike any other marker on the market due to its combination of the water-based special ink and soft edge brush tip.
Due to its soft edge brush tip, it can be used as fine and wide nib all in one. Use the marker upright so that only the tip touches the paper for fine lines, and use it on an angle so that the entire nib is on the surface of the paper for a wider stroke, similar to a chisel tip
Once the nibs have been filled, the colours come out very dark, and after use without re pumping the nib the colour becomes lighter and lighter.
Another great aspect of these is that for the time being they one of the only watercolor markers that is refillable and have interchangeable nibs.

I have a set of these and they have incredible nibs on them, great water ink too although while ive seen great work done with these, i havent done anything good with them as i am usually more a paint pen guy and even still im more of a musician than a visual artist but these have lots of potential

I won 3 of these on IG and they're really nice. My only issue is that i have no clue how to use them as I am accustomed to using pencils and markers and not so much a brush. I've never really been good at painting with a brush. It is fun to use and really comfortable in the hand and I love the fact that you can refill it. I also have one of those micro liner brush pens I have the same issue hahaha but it just feels so good to play with them

Good review, I am digging these new markers. But I highly dislike when I watch a art video of someone painting something. But then, when finished, they don't zoom out and show us the artwork as a whole. I wish you would have shown the full artwork, finished. Zoomed out. Instead of just close up shots of it being worked on. I mean yeah the vid was focus on the markers but still I wish I could have seen the finish product of the artwork being done in the video...

Probably not shown because the Softliner was only used for the background splash. My guess is BombSci was playing it safe in regards to false advertising or any customer's perceived confusion.

hey, all my markers turned brownish green. even the bright blue, never before used marker. the black, too, is a shade of greenish brown... any ideas what to do?

Every time I search and sift through any of the "aqua" Molotow markers videos, I almost NEVER see anyone blending the ink out with water??? I don't get it.
