for those who have a 1250 (and I am assuming the 700), I use the Traeger Grills - Pro 34 Drip Tray Liner on the tray. It's a pack of 5 and works great.

Helpful hint. If you wipe the front of the grill as the creosote runs down and it’s still hot, it pretty much all comes off.
