The G20 is a really niche gun, where as the G19 is the most sold handgun in the states. Just doesn't really make sense for a G20 IMO. I wouldn't hold your breath..... If you want a softer shooting G20 simply swap out your barrel and mags to G21 and presto you have a soft shooting big ass .45 round lol.

Several years ago I got my grandson a M19 Glock Clone that came with a Zev-SOCOM slide and stippled Poly 80 frame with polished Glock internals and Glock factory sights. Over time we've added a Glockstore flared magwell, Trijicon suppressor height Bright & Tough sights, Apex trigger, Swampfox Kingslayer optic, Olight Balder S flashlight/laser combo, and lastly a Radian Ramjet barrel and Afterburner compensator set. Everything we've done has increased the pistol's accuracy and shoot-ability but the barrel and compensator made the greatest difference by greatly reducing the felt recoil and muzzle flip. Works really great for keeping tight groups of quick double tap shots.

Radian killed the look of the Comp since they drilled the Tear Drop Hole in the Comp out to a Round Hole. Now you have a Cool Barrel sticking out of a odd looking round hole.

The packaging on the ramjet Afterburner barrel for glock 19 gen4 indicates that it fits the 19X and G45 as well, but the comp doesn't fit the 19X which is why on the comp box doesn't specify the 19X and G45.

I'm wondering about how much louder it is with this upgrade. Granted almost all shooting is done with ear protection, but now and then you are out working on the place and run across a critter that is causing problems and needs dispatched, or some other reason you may not be wearing protection when you need to make a shot. So... How much increase in noise? I know magnaporting a revolver years ago made a very big difference.

No, the barrel has to tilt to unlock from the slide. There is no "fix" for this, as a non tilting barrel is a non functioning firearm.

@@lucianorosel8128 Hi-Points are blowback, they rely on the mass of the slide (which is why they are so heavy) to keep them closed until the bullet exits the muzzle. The 1911 is a tilting barrel also as it works on the short recoil design.

I'm glad Caleb caught himself when he started to say this device reduces recoil. Most muzzle devices will reduce pistol rise (flip), but they also make the recoil more linear. In theory this should increase felt recoil, but the human hand is more likely to perceive it as reduced recoil. In truth, the rearward energy should be about the same, but recovery time between shots is reduced. There are muzzle brakes that do trap gas and redirect it up and to the sides or even slightly rearward. These arguably do reduce both muzzle flip (rise) and recoil at the cost of intense side blast noise.

Because there are similar products available that attach to the end, but without the barrel upgrade. They prove to be less effective. The afterburner gives the ramjet the extra gas direction and increases the effectiveness of the device.

I needed to run a 15 LB vs the stock OEM spring despite Radian claiming you can run with the OEM. I had FTF and FTE problems with 115gr BUT I was using a strike Liteslide and RMR which is alot lighter than a stock slide.

As to the “web biting” of the Glock, 10’s of thousands of rounds fired thru these AND placement of your hand in the correct position will cause this to occur, ask anyone that has fired this platform for years, daily. @@rgr3427 I have owned and carried glocks for years. My first handgun was a Glock. I have a Glock on my hip right now. I have never had a Glock bite. Training to place my hand in the proper position has kept that from happening. If it is a physiological issue such as having huge hands and no matter what kind of or how much training you do, then there are three ways to go. The first is to use a different gun, maybe one that has a beavertail. The second is to get an aftermarket beavertail for your Glock. That is a rare issue though. The third is to get a larger framed Glock so your hand fits better. If your hand size isn’t the issue, then it is a training issue.

It doesn't. Rule of thumb. Any muzzle device that attaches to the barrel itself will not work as a stand off device. Frame mounted comps, flash hiders, even long lights on short guns work as a stand off device.
