This is probably the best all around rifle you guys offer. Don't discontinue it. I have 3 of them.

My personal favorite. Have both the V1 and V7, but the V1 fits like a glove. Switched out for Magpul furniture, added an Eotech VUDU 1-6 optic and a Surefire light and the perfect AR for me came into existence.

What mount height did you use? Does the front base get in the way with a LPVO?

One of my home defense rifles. I mount a Surefire light right in front of the front sight. Perfect set up.

Amazing that the M4V1 is still in production after all these years, even though the M4V2, M4V3, and M4V5 are now long gone. I wanted to buy one of these more than a decade ago, back when they were still sold with the Omega X 12.0 FSP rail (instead of the DDM4 12.0 FSP that comes standard on the M4V1 today). I'll always associate this gun with "Medal of Honor: Warfighter."

Love my V1 got it back in 2016. One of the most well put together rifles I own. Running an Aimpoint patrol optic, Surefire mini scout light, sling. Run a cheaper green light for hunting. Plenty of kills on coyotes and hogs with this rifle just using 55gr FMJ.

What's a good sight to put on this? (To be over front sight post) Iron sights do not do this rifle justice

I have an aimpoint pro on my AR, got the basic A2 front sight like you see in the video, there’s all kinds of optics that will clear it

Terrible Rifle and terrible company. Sold me a new rifle that had a bad barrel and I had to take the time to send it to manufacture and was without my rifle for a couple weeks. It's ok though, I got a koozie for my trouble. What a joke.
