The house is a lot bigger so definitely takes me more time to get everything cleaned but I’m trying! Also I love that idea for the commute and I’ve been trying to shift my mindset but it’s tough! I’m so anxious about it the whole time (getting the kids out the door and then rushing back to work). Work in progress but trying to find a solution to cut it down! 🩷

I have to go into the office around once a week and it’s a two hour commute each way but I view it as “me time” and get a Starbucks, listen to podcasts or an ebook and sometimes turn the music up and sing my heart out 😆 I think every season of life has its challenges but it’s how you look at it that matters. LOVE halara! Comfiest work pants ever!!

Love your videos! I can relate to your kids missing dad. My husband is a police officer and works midnights so my kids don’t see him 4 days in a row, I try my best to make things fun or special when it’s just us. Sleeping in bed together, breakfast for dinner, special movie nights. It’s so hard, I get it.❤

You may find you don't need to clean as much in the bigger house. Like kids each having their own bathroom- maybe only need cleaned every other week as they're getting half the use. New house- new thinking for how often things get done may help. The driving is HARD!! I just came out of a season of that and it was exhausting and stressful. I felt anxious for some reason losing all that time. Don't have an answer but hope you find what works for you. Love your videos and the new house is gorgeous!

You’re so right about the house! I’ve been doing the kids bathrooms every other week which is nice and just focusing on the main living spaces weekly so it hasn’t been as bad as I thought! Trying to work out a solution for the driving and just kind of accepting it for now lol

Yes!! Many days I come back from picking up the kids and finish work while they have a snack/watch tv. I really try not to let that happen because I already have limited time with them but sometimes it’s unavoidable. On those nights I usually make a real easy and quick dinner like breakfast for dinner since it gets late quickly.
