black church is so real bc my average church service is 4 hours from 6am-10am, and on holidays its 7 hours, either starting at 8pm the eve of the holiday (typically reserved for ethiopian christmas and easter) or like 3 or 4 in the morning. My spirit loves it but my flesh be tiredddddd

In my experience, my profs don’t ask the best discussion questions, so they don’t require much attention or critical thinking 😔 That’s why they feel like a waste of time. If the questions are interesting and thought provoking, then I actually enjoy answering them! And I agree, it’s good to have enthusiasm in school. I was looking for a Christian vlogger for so long. I've been feeling like I need to work on my spiritual life lately and you gave me so much motivation, I literally miss my bible😭. For music recommendations, I grew up on Lecrae, and for King and Country also Tobby Mac but idk if they're still publishing today or if they're still popular. Love this!! I’m learning that praying is just talking / communing with the Lord. It doesn’t have to literally be getting on your knees and bowing your head. Throughout the day, you can just talk to Him. That’s what I do. I used to only pray when something was wrong, but now I know I can talk to Him during all times!! 💓

I definitely relate to this!! Sometimes I read other verses we read in past weeks or I read verses related to something I’m experiencing, like anxiety or sadness. But I try to remember that it’s not always about how long you read, it’s about internalizing what you read. Don’t stress too hard about it 💓💓💓

No this is not stupid at all!! I think a lot of people can relate to this! I try to counsel with my spiritual leaders at my church and they can help with questions I may have or concerns. If you have anyone in your life that is spiritually mature, then you should definitely talk to them! But also, just keep following the Lord! Even during seasons where it may not feel like He’s talking, He’s still working!! I’m sorry I don’t have anything else to add but I hope this helps 💓💓💓

Idk if you’re black or not, but my hair texture is very different than Caucasian hair. It doesn’t require the same amount of washing, even through sweat and product buildup. Every hair type is different!

@ I’m not. Though I do have very bad sensory issues. That’s probably why. One time I had a headache and I did a nerve block and it got my hair dry. I had put water on it. And freaked out and it was like 18. 😂🥲. TBH I wish I could go without it. It sucks honestly.
