i think your new content should be on the same channel! I lowkey hate when creators make a separate channel for everything. It's too confusing and hard to keep up with as a viewer. I end up missing videos or I can't remember what channel I saw a certain video on. If I like the creator, then I'm probably going to like their new endeavours too so I don't see a need to make a new channel. I prefer all content on one channel and then the type of video could be split into playlists ❤

@@briddy I personally think anything would fit because you are a lifestyle channel and people on here are following you because they like you and share your interests. Even if it is different to your videos right now, I think it shows natural progression in your content and would be of interest to a big proportion of your audience as well as bringing in new watchers. For example, all of my subscriptions are either lifestyle vlog content or true crime/commentary so I think those two fit in pretty well. I think in our age bracket those are pretty common interests. In the end, it's up to you though as to how you find it easiest to manage. The only issue I could see is that it might be hard for channel branding and marketing and if you post one type of content more than the other, then it might get lost. However, I think it is more of an issue for a true crime channel to start posting vlogs (since I didn't follow them to know anything about their life) rather than the other way round that you're doing where I already love and enjoy a creator for them and their life through vlogging and would watch any of their content endeavours for them rather than the true crime content specifically. Basically a vlogging/lifestyle channel that I like could do anything and I would probably be interested because I have been following their life and interests already. I'm watching the content for THEM, not the content. but if I was following someone for commentary specifically I would probably be put off if they started posting vlogs. Hope that helps ❤
