I feel like we are such a consumerist culture that is constantly pressured to use new things. I find empties videos so refreshing because it's so lovely to see what people have actually loved enough to keep using to the point where it is gone! Keep it up please!!

PSA: Certain Deciem locations (and some in Toronto) accept beauty empties as part of their recycling program. They accept all kinds, not just deceit containers. Might be the silver lining to keeping your trash :)

Hey Allana I thought I’d just make a suggestion. The makeup eraser or even reusable cotton pads are a lot more sustainable then makeup wipes. It takes them like 100 years to break down in a landfill and I switched over to a makeup eraser on lazy days and I love it.

Really, plus Allana only uses them to clean her hands, maybe use a normal damp cloth to clean her hands while doing her makeup.. would make a big difference

Yes! I just replied to another subscriber who used the makeup eraser that that’s the best way to do get rid of makeup. Makeup wipes are just so wasteful and horrible for our environment.

I also need to wipe my hands when doing my makeup, so I bought some microfiber face cloths to use so I didn’t have to throw away so many wipes. I got grey ones so they wouldn’t show stains. I just dampen them and wipe my hands as I go. They are also amazing for taking off masks or balm cleanser!

Give the bioderma big bottle with the pump another try. The tip is to keep a finger ( i use my middle finger) - while you hold the cotton pad - on top of the little circle in the middle that dispenses the product. Trust me, it works perfectly that way. And the big bottle is more vfm

I just used up the Itcosmetics Bye Bye redness neutralizing correcting cream (why are their names so god awfully long) any way I loved it. I used the tiniest amount all over the face and it evened everything out beautifully. I always got compliments on my skin when I was wearing it.
