Mythology Kadmus and Harmonia had 3 sons and a daughter. Oldest son Illyr inherited his fathers kingdom. Second son Gaul left and established the Gallic nations. Celt was the youngest son and Celtic nations are his descendants. Their aunt was Europa after whom the continent is named. Their sister was Semele the mother of Dionysus. Now Scott's in Gaelic called themselves Albani - Albanoi. Their country ( Scotland ) was called Alba. England was Albion. Do you think it was by accident these nations were absolutely massacred for centuries? If you look at pictures of Scottish ladies from rural Scotland up to 1960's or so, and pictures of Rural Albanian women you will see no difference on the style of dressing and headscarves. Scottish people and Albanians are both known as Highlanders. Both had tribes that were very important throughout the history of these lands. Both use bagpipes and both use kilts. Both are known for savage warriors but also proud and very patriotic. In short I can go on and on but you get the gist. They are assumed to be the true " Hebrews" aka God's chosen people.

Yes, we also share some similar old words like balda and casula (kësula in Alb.). You unfortunately are highly romanized and then slavisized Dacians. Ancient Illyrians and Dacians have the same forefathers. That’s why we have some similarities still. Greetings! :))

@@leonora8998 The Slavic role in our ethnogenesis is heavily exaggerated, we are genetically less Slavic than most of our neighbors and we're closer to Albanians than to Poles or Ukrainians. We are proud of our Roman heritage and Latin language but there's indeed a kinship between Romanians and Albanians because we're both deeply rooted in the Balkans 🙂
