Honey bee reproduction is biologically fascinating. In this lecture, you will learn about anatomical differences between drone and queen honey bees, sexual maturation of both bees, drone congregation areas, queen mating flights, and the physiology and behaviour of sexually active bees. Jamie will discuss these in the larger context of mating biology, and its importance to colony health and productivity.
