Now i get why during DMT and psychedelic experiences, hyperbolic geometrical structures "emerge" out of nowhere. It's because visual recognition system works by dividing and subdiving the "image" and it can be said that it goes .... "haywire" during those experiences. Another interesting thing to note : "DeepDream" imagery has fractals in it, why?
