MC5..greatest American band. A juggernaut..a wall of sound so dense it probably shielded our solar system from alien invasion. As guitar player myself, hearing what Wayne and Fred did was like discovering electricity when your kid brother dared you to stick dad’s car keys in an outlet at the age of 6. It’s real. It’s super charged and you can see colors without closing your eyes. Thanks Wayne for sharing.

Working on a state road crew that summer. Two guys in the back of the truck, quoting lines from the "Back in the U.S.A." LP. Considerable time after when we got to hear this one.

So glad I finally discovered this channel. A long time ago I had the opportunity for you to be my sponsor in NA/AA...I ruined that chance. Bob Timmons shared my number with you. I would love to get in contact someday and appreciate your wisdom. Wanted to say that....Furthermore, I was Wondering if you could make a video of "the pledge song" I have been trying to figure it out, that song is so cool and rocked out!

Thank you, Wayne! All these other guitarists with their instructional videos on how they THINK, MC5 songs are played...can all take a backseat, Professor Kramer has finally put the issue to rest.😁👍

Wayne, what happened to Fred Smith? He wrote this, the greatest album of all time; then (while you were away) he wrote “City Slang” with the Sonic’s Rendezvous Band. And then . . . Nothing! And then he died. How can you go from GOAT to nothing in a few years? The guys who OD’d did better.
