No one and I mean no one plays with more happiness than Junna. She is not trying to be flashy, she is just so enthusiastic playing she can't help herself. This woman has real skill like all the other great female J/Rock/Metal drummers out of Japan (Akane/Band-Maid, Haruna/Lovebites, Marina/Aldious, Mari/Mary's Blood, etc....) and then you have the Jazz sensations, Kawaguchi or Kanade. The skill level of these women is just amazing.

Outstanding performance again! I can't ever watch her play and not smile. She is amazing and I hope she continues to get so much enjoyment and satisfaction from drumming for decades to come! She's an inspiration for sure, and I can bet she's lit a fire under a few asses, causing them to get back in the saddle again and to up their game a little. Lol! The enjoyment that's written all over her face is absolutely priceless! Just to have the stamina to play that hard for that length of time isn't something to scoff at for sure. After playing an intense 45 minute set like she did on this song, using a lot of power and putting every ounce of your soul into every sound that you cause that drumkit to make when your up there onstage, with the lights only adding to the heat that's sapping your energy as fast as you are able to create it. What compounds this problem even more, is most often,there is very little to no air circulation onstage even with a fan. It's nuts just how much energy is expended playing this way, sometimes making it difficult to even stand up afterwards. Lol . This is why I would teardown and load up the equipment right after getting offstage, because once I sat down for a few minutes, that was it! Lol. I'm curious what type of band she ends up playing with, because I don't see her just being a studio gun for hire. Lol. I hated being in the studio and trying to keep dam headphones on my head for longer than 30 seconds..lol. I'll bet she will too.😂

I can't believe that one drummer reactor was thinking that she doesn't really play this song in video. Or that those foot paddles are driggered such a way that she only does hits on drums. And other thing was that because they can't see microphone that most likely is in up in the air, she doesn't play this really live. And those reactors had seen only 1 video of her. Not the Trident band video where she also played drums and they sounded the same. The drigger comment came because some "professional drummer" said that her double bass is too consistent. Maybe that dude was just jealous if he cannot deliver at that quality.

Technique is awesome...fingers/wrists- there's no way to keep that up for 5 minutes with stiff arms, just working with shoulders and elbows. Having said that, kudos to her conditioning. That takes a lot of energy to keep that up and not lose it.

Yes it does! I think that a lot of metal drummers almost look like statues when playing live, with the most minute movements performed when needed in order to conserve energy. I played like she does, with every ounce of energy and power I could give it. I called it WFO! (wide-f**kin-open) lmao. It does drain the crap out of you but dam is it fun and it saves you a lot of money towards anger management. 😂🤣

There are other great drummers Akane "AKA Gentle Gorilla" there is Yoyoka 12 year old Solo drummer. Akane is in a rock band called BandMaid the song freedom she has a really good solo. And smaller Solo's in songs Onset "instrumental" and domination " official live" I think you would enjoy those drummers. If u want to check out there talented young ladys other than drums there is Sakura Yoshida "guitar" Fami "bass" Audry and Kate " guitar and bass playing sisters". Keep up the great work

You should check out Doki Doki morning from her. Its not the full song but some of the techniques she uses I've not seen before. I'm not a professional drummer by any stretch of the imagination but I did play and do watch plenty of different drummers. This girl is just different.
