For non load-bearing walls what you did is perfectly fine. Also good thinking on doing some sort of water barrier because you weren't using pressure treated wood.

Nice man real good to see you upgrade your work place. I would probably have made a little barrier from the PC area to the rest due to the saw dust and such easily being able to get into your PC but yeah if you have good filters it won't be a problem either

That is a concern! Fortunately I don't think it'll be a problem. Sawdust isn't so fine that it floats around the room I don't think, mostly just falls on the floor
