Lockstins explanation for Scream Tail being in the final four was basically due to Jigglypuffs legacy in the anime and strength in Smash Bros, and since Scream Tail is a suped up version of that, that makes it a contender, however personally I don't really like that explanation all that much but I still believe Scream Tail does deserve its spot here due to its good type matchups into the competition, high bulk and evasiveness, and the fact that it has won multiple major Pokemon VGC tournaments thanks to Wolfe Glick. It's not a top tier threat but it's an integral player in Perish Trap teams specifically

It's also because of Scream Tail's ability to use an overwhelmingly powerful scream, which disrupts electronic equipment, which would give it a huge advantage against all the future paradox pokemon specifically. But that's applying real world logic to video game characters, so eh...whether you choose to believe it or call bs on it is up to the individual. Either way other than stalling it out for a few turns with Disable and Encore, it flat out had no clear answer for Flutter Mane.

@@Kyata101 It's worth mentioning as well that the fights aren't meant to represent the games exclusively either, but rather an idea of how they would hold up against one another in the lore of the series as a whole. While the games are the main focus, turn based games are also very difficult to really gauge how effectively two fighters can stand against one another because so many aspects of combat are removed from the equation. So I think it makes sense to try and consider how nuance could influence the outcome of a battle like this.

I have! However in an attempt to entice viewers to watch the originals themselves, I chose not to. I know a lot of people watch the originals first, but some only see it through a reaction video. Yes but what lore? The Pokedex entries and what's in-game tells us basically nothing about the paradox pokemon, so the only reliable information is gameplay and what's good competitively.
