Professional Skimboarding World Championships 2021! Competition Day 1

Aliso Beach is home to the most prestigious and longest running skimboarding contest in the world! The 44th annual "Vic" skimboarding competition welcomes professional and amateur skimboarders from around the globe. The Shorebreak at Aliso Beach makes it one of the most consistently good waves for skimboarding in California. This year we got very unlucky with swell, so competitors were forced to skim in conditions that were not favorable for our sport.

been anticipating this one since mentioned in the last posting, awesome even if the waves weren't huge.. Good to see the best skimmers on waves everyone rides, and the point of a comp is to bring out the best use of conditions however optimal or not, should have seen more airs. Be well, be REAL.

The cave around 10th street to 14th st. Is incredible snorkeling. On the South, natural tunnel Wall, is an antique, cliff diving peach. Check the water with a mask and snorkel first. The diving spot is about 45-60 above the water. That's what we used to do there when the ocean was flat.
