I have one planted like this but the base tends to rot consistantly so I moved it to jumbo sized bark chunks only and it s base is doing a lot better , although it did flower ever year in the mix just it would fall over occasionally lol

I would like clarification. Do you use river sand and horse manure as compost? Is it this ?

Use half riversand and half potting media . The potting media is a decompose bark based mix. Any store bought potting media will work. Hope That Helps. Any other questions just ask.

Where are you located? I’m in central Florida so all of my orchids get indirect sunlight. Temps can reach 95. So my sun porch is full of plants.

I just got this semi terete vanda and instead of planting it in a pot of sand medium, I simply tie it on a wood without any medium like mokara. I ain't sure how to water these semi terete vanda. Is it through the stem like mokara or just the root like vanda ?

If you have it out in full sun , where it will flower at its best you will have to water very frequently and you can spray the whole plant like you do with your Mokaras 👍

Please, please, help. Please let me know how and at what platform I could learn from you more. I love Vanda. Bought them on summer 2020 and killed them all. Used fertilizers and fungicides and even green house sun system as saw in you tube videos. All was useless. So sad...heartbreaking. Do not want to buy Vanda for to kill it again. No... the roots will rot if planted .use very large open bark with air pots or just bare root..I hope that helps 👍

pendant la saison sèche seulement une fois par semaine mais nous avons de la rosée qui s'installe dessus. Pendant la saison des pluies, je n'arrose pas du tout, sauf une alimentation foliaire une fois par semaine.
