I used Fiverr once to have a violinist play a piece over my acoustic guitar song. It was a 6-minute song, and I needed about 3-4 minutes of violin. Paid $5 plus whatever the fees and such through the website, basically less than 10 dollars. The violinist sent me 10 tracks. One that matched the guitar chord progressions, and maybe 3-5, that played a different progression but stayed in the right key. The others were her interpretation of what she thought I was looking for. They all worked so well. Her violin playing made me change my song for the better because he interpretation ones were so amazing. It is actually amazing what you can get from that site. I didn't even need to pay for edits or stuff like that. She knew exactly what I wanted even with my crappy description. She just flowed with the music and knew what I wanted. All for $5~. She's probably made $1,000+ off me over the course of a year because I instantly fell in love with her playing. I should upload the songs we've done together.

Another part of the mental health video talked about Eddy having physical symptoms due to stress, so it definitely IS possible for stress to cause physical problems. to me its also the context of all but her offering only a specific set of pieces. absolutely fine to do that, but that puts her in a completely different category. they basically offer a product. a few pieces that they know and probably recorded already. and different people can purchase. she basically offers a SERVICE. whatever you want played and performed. its infinitely harder work. and combined with the beautiful music video outside.. yeah, she gives you a unique, personal product tailor made. makes sense she charges most.

I think it's kind of obvious why they're unemployed, at least in Europe all the concert halls are closed since roughly 1.5 year. I suppose a lot of musicians took up a "normal" job and are on fiver just for fun and getting at least some musical challenges. Not everyone can be a youtuber. + the production of musicians exceeds the amount the entertainment market can employ, so you'll always have a lot of talented musicians not employed in an orchestra etc. It's not IT where everyone is sucked into the job market regardless of skills.
@aldrickfondracul92973 жыл бұрын
I'm just wondering how bad the job market for violinists must be if you still have to do Fiverr with this kind of talent. Then again, a certain event (which YT doesn't like being mentioned) destroyed all kinds of job markets.

Most of these take perhaps 3-8 minutes to do. If you already know them well, you might be able to record several over an hour so if you charge, say, 60 dollars? That could be 200 bucks an hour, which certainly is nice pocket money.

I don't know about anyone else in the comment section but I actually don't play an instrument but I like to watch their videos because it's such great content and I enjoy listening to classical music. This channel helps me see it through the eyes of two relatable professionals!!

Hello guys, can you interview these people? I think it would make for a great video to know more about their history and why they are on fiver. Great video!!! Greetings from Portugal.

Dorky economics explanation: Fiverr is a gig site, and it is an easy way to make an extra dollar for a musician (especially a high-calibre one) if they post up on Fiverr and offer their best/favorite performances. They just have maintain the pieces in a ready state to perform (even easier if they already perform it regularly at weddings, etc - looking at you, Epicmusic, or are only selling rights to the video - Bruch). In the Fiverr market place, you can get gigs if you know a piece no one else does and be clear in your posting what you have available to perform. Of course, if the buyer is looking for a song and no one can play it (or play it to the buyer's satisfaction), then the buyer has to hire someone to learn it, and that costs a LOT more money as it costs a lot more of the musicians time. But it is still a win for both parties. Also, loved the blown-away reactions from Twoset. Also, not selling my violin playing skills on Fiverr anytime soon :P

It's been so long since I've heard it, prolly because I've been avoiding it since it's too "overplayed" but I completely forgot about the beauty of Eine Kleine. There's a reason it's overplayed, it's just beautiful😍👌 Until you've heard it like- a hundred times repeatedly and by then the vibe just kinda goes out the window 😂
