Real talk, this is one of the best things you’ve uploaded to KZbin. I love the debrief at the end too.

Thanks for the feedback, Drew. I was pretty happy with this. It’s an interesting type of content that I haven’t seen very much of. And I think it’ll help give some insight into my game and strategies for you guys.

Awe man, smooth moves from BMac, and smooth commentary from Skaff the copy ninja. This video was a win win! I’d love to see more roll commentaries of Brandon’s rolls.

Brandon has quickly become my new fave to watch on youtube. healing from a MCL currently so watching videos through my tears ... boo hoo. Can't wait to change my deep half up to that Hamsandwich.

I cheated a little. I couldn't wait for this knee to heal so I went to practice and went light. Nailed the ham sandwich several times and even turned truck into sandwich at one point.! Thank you!!!!!! Watching every day now

One thing I really like is how Brandon uses the octopus hook to stop that pass. I'm going to try to incorporate that into my game now. I know the set up for octopus guard but I've never used it. Now I know where to use it in a live roll.

Man!!!! THIS! This is the kind of thing I've been looking for for SO long. This format is perfect for me. It allows me to see myself in the early part of the roll and then instantly see what I'm not doing but Brandon is. The level difference is huge but at least now it's visible for me. Just SEEING in real time the options he has and chooses is so enlightening. It's magical. Studying just techniques does not give me the integration this can offer. THANK YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That’s great feedback man. I’m happy it’s useful material for you. We did another one last night and we will probably be doing them each Thursday. Last night was purples and brown belts

I’d like to see Keelan roll too. Everybody thinks Superman is the strongest out there, but they often forget that the cameraman is the one keeping up with him. That’s Keelan. 😂

I'm not sure if yll do it already but 10P Decatur should just highlight and high level student (with commentary of course) so we can learn from live rolls. Super professional feel to the gym. The live questions at the end is good media training for the big stage too. Commentary was and always clear, concise and keeps me engaged. 👍🏾 Rock Steady

Great video! I get this way when someone has an answer to everything I do. The blue belt is probably actually good but just mentally freezes and gets exposed for mistakes with no counters then just gets made to look like it’s his first month. That’s how it is for me haha

We should get Skaff to do a breakdown on it. He plays it a lot more than I do. Mine is more of a trap door, but he’s got a whole system

Hey Bro, would you mind elaborating on the "too far forward" statement? I don't understand what you mean (obviously get caught on this turns/sweeps all day!)
@brandonmcninja2 жыл бұрын
If you are driving forward too aggressively, that means your hips are light. Makes it easy to get underneath you for sweeps or leg locks
