I'm an old solo rider livin' wayyyy out here on the edge with the coyotes and big cats. That said...and in my opinion, when I throw a guy a wave & he throws one back...we show respect. If your friend is a better fit with another MC, and everyone is good with it, it makes the world one step closer to getting better. We need all the friends we can keep. Kudos

Fully agree. Have friends that are solo or LW, others on clubs, that I rode with for decades. A Brother or Sister is that, in my experience, regarless.of club. You can call a friend at 0300 for bail, and they will find a way. A Brother, you can't, because he's sitting in holding with you, asking what the plan for next weekend is. He is there if you wear the same patch or not.

I had a great friend who was apart of your organization that shall not be named lol. That’s when I actually first heard of it, and was damn proud of him for going that way. He was part of the organization out in Texas and he loved every minute of it, he died a couple years back of cancer but I thank him for all he did and I thank you for what y’all do. God bless , be safe and keep the shiny side up.

The fact he made a decision and voiced it at the moment he felt it was time to go shows his character, and its respectable 100%. I've had plenty of brothers shift to another club and yes they are still in my family, and we're still close as hell. Cool video man.

Mr. Monk, you're a class act. Unless someone does something completely stupid or that bringing embarrassment or discredit to the organization, he should not be disowned for leaving, and a class buddy would not abandon him. And to go the step further to make an introduction pitch for him is a class thing to do too. Good video, good job!

i do not know why you showed up in my recomended feed last week, but it was a good thing. i do not ride, never have, just been intrested and want to. ive watched several of your videos and enjoy all of them. im a volunteer firefighter and its kinda the same for us if a member leaves, on good terms, for another department, or retire, they are still a brother.

For me it’s all about how he departed. If you depart one organization on bad terms, that speaks for itself. I have friends ( brothers) that ride with other organizations, other than the one I ride with. None of these are 1% clubs. All are organizations that serve a purpose! Just cuz the rags you have don’t match, don’t mean you can’t get along with others. Respect… Stay safe out there…

Hey man. I just watched your linked video of the organization that shall not be named. I was in tears. I knew roughly who you were associated with and was excited as I had thought the one in my town was the same. It is not, but the mission is most likely very similar. As a Victim services volunteer here in Alberta, Canada, I see too many 'abuses against kids' cases. It is truly gross. When I lost my wife in 2020, a lot changed, but mostly it was me. I was blown away at how professional this organization is, and the thought of being able to merge my passion for riding with my passion for serving my community and these kids is mindblowing. We'll see how it goes, but I'm hopeful. Thanks for all you and your brothers do, and for all the people that and organizations that stand up for kids. Much respect, man. Much respect.

The flag in the background says it all!! I’ve followed your channel since almost the beginning. I’ve had many a laugh and even learned some things. This side of who you and Mrs. Monkey is what it is all about. People helping others, especially children without any forethought of “What’s in it for me?”. I couldn’t possibly express my respect for You and the Mrs. and The Organization that shall not be named, for what is probably one of the important missions we need in this crazy chaotic world. No child or anyone for that matter should live in fear!! Excellent video TJ…..

Thank You PM!. I started riding some 48 yrs ago. I rode for a bunch of yrs. I sold my wheels when the kids came along. Well - The wife turned into an X - And I bought a bike and rode again for a bunch of yrs. I have always worn black on black with black. I always pulled my ego back. You know - over all those yrs, the MO and MC/ 1% were a great bunch to stop and chat with. The number of riders, the gents and ladies we met. Heck - we were in snow - -14 weather - we - [GF and I ] had 2 beds at a motel. Told a 1%er to come stay with us for the weekend. He did - and he had tears - when he told me, that no one - not even his brother - would invite him to stay with his family. We have been brothers ever since. It is the relationships that count. Cheers - have whatever beverage floats your boat! It has been an honor to meet all of you.

My organization doesn't have the same criteria as many other organizations (Veterans org.) but from being in this world as long as I have, one thing I have seen is a Hang around and a prospect is as much as a learning and interview process for the club as it is the individual, as you said, some things won't always be a good fit for everyone and that is cool, at least that guy was honest with you and himself, nothing wrong about saying, this is not for me and moving on, have more respect for someone that is honest than someone that hates what they would be doing ....best of luck to your friend (I also know that this was posted two years ago)

WOW there is so much stuff to the organization or MC’s. I am not part of any of it. I have a cut, but don’t wear it to not get in trouble. I have it to put patches on from the destinations I rode to. When I get asked who I am riding with I respond with: I am riding alone cause I haven’t found anyone to ride with I’d enjoy to ride with. I even do 4K mile trips alone. Kind of like a lone Wolf but am not showing it with a patch or sticker. Learned that stuff with the colors and clubs from you and the guys and gals at AM leather near Detroit. Thanks for educating us and sharing your knowledge to the outsiders.

I know this vid is a few months old, but its new to me. Ive watched a bunch of your stuff before and always like the content, but I have to admit this one hit me pretty hard. I have been riding close to my entire life, Ive known and met a lot of people, some of which come from clubs. But I personally have never felt the need to join one. I just ride, and felt that being in a club would cut down on my saddle time. A few months back, I met a few guys from a club near me, and for the first time, I felt that it might be a place Id like to belong. However, I am moving across the country in a week, knew it then, and I just wasnt able to commit. I really wish I could, and I believe I will be missing out on something. Listening to how committed to your group you are, and how you are trying to find that for a friend, makes me both happy for you and your bud, and a bit jealous that I dont have that for myself.

Great video. Good insight as to the power of friendship and trust. I don’t belong to any club in fact I just got back on a bike after twenty years plus I’m an old guy (66) seeing if I can ride after back surgeries. Happily I can. I think there is a chapter of “the organization that shall not be named “ up here in Boise. I’ll need to look into them. I love your channel and the way you bring knowledge about working on bikes. Outstanding video, Mr. Monk! It also hit home for me. Due to a “difference of opinion “ I left an organization that I had been with for 21 years. I am out in good standing; however, some of my former “brothers” will no longer even give me a nod when they see me and have been harassing Brothers that have kept in contact with me. If I have to have the same patch as you to be your brother, then we were never brothers in the first place. The way you handled the situation with your former prospect was first class all the way! And kudos to him for being upfront when he realized your organization wasn’t a good fit for him. I hope he does well in the new MC. Thanks for your videos and prayers for you and your family and Club.

I totally agree with you. It sucks that not everybody does. I was part of an M/M and left them due to a difference of opinion. I tried continuing to be a brother to everyone that was there, but unfortunately they didn't see it the same way. I know that not everyone who rides considers me as their brother, but I view them as my brother or sister. I only call them that if they feel the same way. I love watching your videos on here. I don't own a Harley Davidson, and probably never will, but I love watching the upgrades you do to your bikes. Like the prospect that this video was done about, I agree with what your organization stands for. I've considered joining the organization, or one with the same beliefs, but it's just not my fit. Keep doing what you're doing and stay safe.

Me personally I’m not a good fit for any of the organizations you have discussed. I ride with people that have ridden a very long time and shy away from those who are not experienced. Plus my group is a bunch of crusty old bastards. 😏 I have fun with them and enjoy their company. Sometimes I’m solo. 3,200 views and only 800plus likes??? Good day Mr. Monkey, During the last years I was in the Army I got my degree in Adolescent Psychology. As a single Dad I couldn't take the job at the local elementary school working with children from dysfunctional families. My children did not need me in prison for educating an abusive parent that refused to let a child use healthy tools I outfitted them with. I love your organization! All across America I take the word of BACA members as gospel. The 1% club I grew up around and prospected with would take your recommendation and fast track an individual. I pray your friend finds a home. You Sir and Mrs. Monkey and so many others answer a calling I lack control to do. Even before my military training I used violence first, second and last so I do not fit facing "adults" that abuse children. Whether in an MO, MC or riding club friendships are made and grow. Only an individual that is outed bad can cause heartache when that friendship has to end because of organization loyalty. I appreciate your sharing your disappointment and high hopes for your friend. Personal responsibility today seems to be non existent. Keep up the good works for your children. You all are in my prayers Hoka Hey

When someone leaves, it means something about the person who leaves (not necessarily good or bad). However, it should give the organization pause to consider if there's some aspect of the organization itself that needs attention (also not necessarily good or bad; maybe at least in the way of communicating, methods, rules, etc.).

I’m sure that it’s difficult to find a good organization that has the attitude that you have, but with that said, I hope that everything worked out well for that guy. I like what your organization stands for! I live in California and haven’t looked into any local organizations, to be honest, I’m not even sure where to begin looking. Is it even appropriate to approach an organization or does a person have to wait for an invite that may never come. Full disclosure… I don’t have a lot of friends that ride, so how does a guy find out if the organization is right for them so I can certainly see why the situation played out the way that it did! Much respect to you for the way you and your organization handled it! Shit… I talk too much… love the channel!

Some of it is worse than a 9th grade recess at an all girls school, met a MO BACA I'm thinking of checking them out, club with a purpose of something that is not club orientated with or for another club, but a legit focus and the love of riding strong , tight and organized, miss that. Thanks, take care of those who have not the ability themselves.

Much respect for all you and the rest of your Group that's not named. I come from a bad child hood and wish there was a place to go to back in the 60s. I have met and rode with a lot of Brothers years ago. They knew I would stand by them if needed but would never wear a patch from any MC and that is just me. If you are in the wind and show respect you will get respect back. If you show attitude that is other then just brothers and sisters giving shit to each other I will walk off. I am to old for that. If a party is going on I will say hi and talk a while and then take off as I don't drink these days. But again much RESPECT to you Mrs Monkey and all the others in the group not named.

I’m one of them GDI’s wear no patches and at this point in my life I most likely will not. (68 years young) I have nothing against the clubs , back in the day I hung around one in fact. I was a close friend to a well respected member of the said club. All that said, I have lots of respect for what you and your organization does for the kids. It is now 4/25/2023. Are the links still active to make a donation?

While I have road and partied with bikers in my youth, I was never in an MC. That said, the organizational politics Mr. Monkey talks about, both internal and external, happen in every organization I have ever been part of and/or seen. I'm a great grandmother, so I have seen a lot of this in my life. Mr. Monkey's organization seems pretty squared away, healthy, functional and positive and these things are not easy to achieve, nor easy to maintain. Human nature, IMO, tends towards chaos and unhealthiness insofar as group organizations are concerned. Its a constant struggle to keep things squared away, healthy, positive and functional. So to Mr. Monkey and his group, hat's off and well done. 🙂

Friends and brothers are real. Organizations start and are established for people with like minds to come together, for a common goal. Being a friend and brother is a plus. Staying friends are important. Unless you do something horrible leaving friends behind is not something I would do. Glad you were able to remain amicable. Drop that hand to all bikers, were all enjoying the riding life. Well done on the recommendation. What we should do for great people.

I'm more of a motorcyclist than a biker but seems like a positive interaction with everyone involved. I have to imagine it's different if you get into the 1%ers since there's... extralegal activities that might be involved, information the club doesn't want non-members to know and especially if the person in question is trying to join up with a rival, but for 99% of groups seems like a really adult way to handle things.

Short answer yes of course, as long as he’s a solid Dude. I rode with the American Legion RC on Okinawa. As an RC we followed all the traditional rules of the local MC’s, to include the Big Dog 1% Club on Okinawa. Because we were a RC many folks that “joined” us ended up looking for more and left our group to go find that. I fully supported their decision and I’m still friends with all of them. This includes a guy that joined the local Big Dog Club. We would and will still ride together, have a beer together do whatever together as long as it’s cool with him. Of course I’m not here to hem anyone up that doesn't warrant it. That’s the long answer.

"who the hell is this guy, blah blah blah blah blah... " just because if no one else has, I will. Because I like to be a snarky sarcastic SOB at times, just to make people laugh... who the hell am I? No one. But suddenly I have more and more connections to the MC world. And If I'm a noob, I need to STFU and learn fast. Which is why I'm subbed. Love the content I've sen so far, I appreciate the calm, to-the-point delivery, without drama or unnecessary rants. Although the random mental bunny trails in various vids really appeal to my ADHD. Keep up the great content! EDIT: I don't know which org you're with. I'm sure with some digging I could figure it out, but it honestly doesn't matter. Obviously you're with an org that helps kids who've been through hell, and that's awesome. But even more so, you've said in several vids about how "regulated" your org is. Clear rules, clear chain of command, and everyone knows what the rules are, why they're in place, and how they all work.. And. considering who you're working with, it should be obvious why your org is so strictly run. I appreciate your commitment to the org and sticking to the rules
