I can’t wait to see if it’s worth the money getting it tuned after running a Thunder max. We need to see the before and after on what the hp and torque is.

I looked into the tour pack clearance when I heard about it - it's chopped and razor packs only. the King pack clears just fine. Looks great, Monkey!

I think you only need the spacer if you move the tour pack as far forward on the mount as you can.

I’ll also be getting the Advan tour pack once they come out with the new CVO colors. They don’t have copperhead yet.

So I didn’t know this until recently but the docking hardware on the bike is adjustable. The sections that the tour pack locks onto aren’t round, they are slightly out of round and act as a cam. You can loosen the side bolt and rotate it. I had to do it on my bike because I couldn’t lock the sissybar on after the dealership installed the hardware.

Put my Advanblack king tour pack on last month, and lids cleared without issue. Son wants to start riding and seems like a good way to pick him up from daycare.

I remember riding on the back of my fathers vtx1800 in the early 2000s then he traded it in for an old twin cam road glide. 20 years later I’m on a built street glide and when my pops comes to visit we still rip it up even though he’s 62 now 😂

Only thing that sucks is that advanblack figured this out after I already had my mount that doesn't have the rubber or the wings. Don't really wanna have to but another one.

My daughter also loves to ride to food with me she usually makes it about 60 or 70 mi one way she hasn't really got the long distance thing yet but it's still super fun to do with her

Mr. Monkey, i know you don't chase numbers and all of that, but the new bikes have a way higher lift springs. You should have gone with a 500- a 530 lift. It would give u a bit more power up high unless u want the off the hop torque!! Thats what everyone seems to be running in the 2024s!! 400 lifts might have a bit too much right off the throttle for torque but ride it and let us know pls!! And ps the orange stitching for the pro monkey seat would be 🔥!!

Sorry but those chopped tour packs may look cool and all, but it don't cut I for me when compared to a king tour pack. I can fit two full helmets and more in my factory king tour pack. Not to mention that they come with led lights and speakers to boot.

On my last bike I had to tap the locks with a hammer handle to get my docking hardware to lock.

Uh Monkey, you are supposed to adjust the black plastic round thingy on the docking hardware to make it easy to dock and undock your tour pack. They are eccentric and you loosen the studs on the docking hardware and turn the black plastic things until they mate up just right.

Put some gloves on her. Dress for the slide not the ride.

I bought the atlas silver metallic tourpack from them and it most definitely does not match. It’s close

It looks like the lids clear by about as much as the rubber padding on the Advan rack. Maybe that makes the difference.

As long as you don't flag your ecm harley might cover it. As soon as I put my power vision on it my warranty went out the door. Dealer would not help. Good luck. Looking dump my 23 st so I can upgrade to a 24 and keep it under warranty

I had an 85 FLHT I bought used. The trunk had the small backrest on it. When the 86s came out with the wrap around recliner Harley came out with a kit so you could put the wrap around on the older trunks. You needed to move the trunk back 2-2 1/2 inches so the kit included a steel plate to put inside the trunk to reinforce it. I put the heated Sundowner seat on my 24 RG. The missus made it clear on my truck that it better have heated seats so I didn't figure I'd go wrong with one on the bike too, lol.

My kids also, recently surprised the hell out of me "can we go outside". Sure, it's 12 degrees and there's a foot of snow of on ground, but sure. Just stay warm.... 10 yr old boys, and a little girl just moved back in across the street after a couple years. I will hang out in the garage till the cows come home for them to be of a screen. (We're in rural PA, there are actually cows to come home. ) surprisingly, they did the same thing at the in laws in Orlando in December.
