I have a Round1 near me in Michigan, but it seems like every time I go the prices get higher and the service gets worse.

I'm planning to go to the one in Chicago illinois for my birthday. But from the videos I've seen of American Round 1 some of the Japanese cranes have been rigged. Ex. Pick up a giant plush ball to turn in for a prize instead of trying to pick up the actual prize itself. The 3 claw machines aren't 3 claw ufos they are the metal ones found in normal crane games. Lastly, they have machines where the prize is trapped between 3 bean bag prong looking things that you have to somehow un-stuck the prize from.

Quality is indeed better, but that candy ball machine i feel like that second ring is too much for some candy turning the chances down from 30 to 9% (my math is bad soo dont quote me on that) just by that extra ring

Round1 does have locations in other countries, but sadly not mine. While I do have several claw arcades nearby, none of them feature the UFO catcher style. In other words, only plushes and almost 100% luck based. 😭
