Hope to see an update with a chord feature to compliment the scales feature. Perhaps stereo to mono knobs also. And with the LOOP REC button: add additional buttons that complement the Audio to Edison, Audio into Playlist and Notes & Automation options; hate I have to use my mouse after accessing this feature from my Akai Fire.You sir have the best tutorial of this machine

Purchased this for my sons 18th birthday but it isn't working correctly... I watched about 10 videos on this and yours by far is the BEST!! Our issue is the MIDI settings. We dont have the option to chose "Akai pro fire" controller ( the third option ) In other videos we've learn that we need FL Studios 20.03.85, or something, not just FL Studios 20 HOWEVER after 2 days of researching i find out that my kid "downloaded" the software without purchasing it and I cant afford the upgraded software and my kid cant "download" the upgraded software because it isnt available... Do I have any other options? I wont work with out the proper upgraded software so should i just return the gift ( Akia fire ) Any help whats so ever would be great =(

Hi. I've been looking for a long time for a way to record midi notes into pattern performance mode. a long time ago I asked on the forum imagineline but found nothing. thats woul be a great tool for live looping with a lot different patterns sizes. But unfortunately, we must program in advance midi notes. Only 1 solution during record performance : mouse in the piano roll, it sucks of course - isn't there a way with midiOx ? of course it is for record midi notes CC in the piano roll with my keyborard alesis qx61

You see the way your FIRE was lit up when you first plugged it in. The first 4 pattern button white and the next 4 red etc. Mine is like that all the time. I can still paint patterns and stuff through the FIRE on to the FL Studio software but the FIRE is just stuck on those lights...what's going on? Thanks

Go to midi controller setting and make sure the ports are on the same channel. I had the same problem and that fixed it

Beginners this is a great video, but I got to add something it didn't say when setting up. (Is that ok, Professoar, cos you won't remake this video?) In the Options main menu, you must have 'enable midi remote', as well as 'enable midi master sync' and 'enable midi output' enabled. Out of the box my FIRE did not work, and I returned it to Amazon. The next one they sent did not work. I am embarrassed to say the third one did the same thing, so watching this video, and knowing the Akai setup says enable those midi sync and output options, I figured it out. Thanks, Amazon, for being so cool about me damaging your FIRE packaging!! Three times. I got it working
