What's funny about Alder is, technically, he isn't the only champion of the base BW games. It's also N since he defeats Alder and takes his title right before you fight him. So N's team is also fair game Alder only gets his title back post game when N decides go down his own path

@@le_pinjan If you are referring to his Gardevoir here, prismatic laser is psychic hyper beam. The moment he uses it, the Sceptile revenge switches in and kills during the cool down. But when Charizard tanked the psybeam, Quick's hopes were dashed. Much of the "throws" commenters whine about are really them trying to out-predict the other side with incomplete information. Like Chilln's Charizard staying in on a Milotic with heatproof ending up putting the match greatly in his favor since QuickGG guessed the swap and went for fly himself. Pokemon isn't so simple a game that you just see big move, click big move. That only works on playthroughs. Why judge when you aren't them?

If you guys decide to do this again it would be neat to include the pokemon the professors send out in the beginning of the games but fully evolved (ex: Rowan sending out a munchlax so you can potentially get a Snorlax) so it has some variety along with the fire, water, and grass starters

Hey long time watcher and I love the content! I don’t know if this has been suggested before but I think it would be really cool to see a Pokémon type-link challenge where they both random encounter a non-legendary dual type Pokémon (ex. Fire/Flying)for their team, then find another dual type Pokémon that match one of their typings (ex. Flying/Dragon). From then on they have to catch dual type Pokémon that match the type they didn’t choose before (ex. Dragon/Water). I can’t remember if they’ve done a challenge like that before but it would make for a great diverse team. :)

Episode idea: Take turns spinning two wheels, both have all Pokémon types on them. After spinning both wheels, you have 5 seconds to name a Pokémon in Sword and Shield with those types. Dual-type Pokémon only, if the two wheels show the same types then you re-spin. If players fail to say a correct Pokémon within 5 seconds, the other player gives them a Pokémon of their choice with the correct typing. For example, QuickGG goes first and the wheels are spun and he gets Dragon and Ghost. Within 5 seconds he manages to say Dragapult and that's his first Mon. If he fails to say anything, then Chilln can give him Dreepy

I think the reason Alder's team from Gen 5 is pretty lackluster is because those games focus less on the elite four, the real "final battle" in the story is against ghetsis, not the champion.

Suggestion. 30 minutes to catch as many Pokémon as you want. However, if the Pokémon has a useless/awful ability, you can switch it with an ability of another Pokémon you caught. (1 Master Ball and No Legendaries/Mythics/Ultra Beasts). Any Non-Fully evolved Pokémon will be evolved before the battle starts.

Would love to see a challange where you each have 1 masterball, and like 15 other pokéballs of one type. Then catch as many pokémon you can with the balls, so you get a minimum of 1 or a maximum of 16. Depending on whether you just go for hard to catch pokémon or go for the easier to catch pokémon. You can't evolve the pokémon and ability and moves randomized. You can catch to the degree of what risk you are willing to take while making your team.
