@stylis66612 сағат бұрын
@@taoofjester4113 Like Acidfunkish said, consent is an important factor and by equating everything to sex Terrence just wiped all consent off the board like it's nothing. On top of that, it's the kind of language that in cults leads to women being conditioned into believing that by allowing sexual acts to be performed on them they are part of a greater good. It's not kink shaming to shorten that to: you're just a pervert. I would've preferred it if Dave had mentioned those things. Terrence isn't just being silly, he is very much on his way to become very dangerous if he isn't already. And he's not alone anymore. People associate with him. People who can and will use the influence to abuse others. It's probably the whole reason they're doing this: to attract and use vulnerable people financially and sexually by offering them fake guidance and purpose. That's effectively the "kink" that Dave is shaming, and that is a good thing.

One of the guilty pleasures of life is listening to a child of 5 explain everything to you confidently having little or zero knowledge of anything. For instance, ask them to explain to you how open heart surgery works, why someone would need it, why it needs to performed in a Hospital, how much the doctor gets paid and why do they make that amount. You are likely to hear some of the cutest, craziest shit you've ever heard connecting things you would never have imagined. You can play along to a certain extent for your amusement, but don't go to the lengths of reacting in amazement and telling that child how much of a natural genius they are. If you do, in 30 years, you will have another Terrence Howard, and it will be your fault.

@@cynicallemonade1792 Personally, as someone who has a mother who's somewhat like this, I think it's your duty to pushback without alienating the person. My brother rather spinelessly chose to play along with her delusions, and I stood my ground. Her friends did too, for a while. That divide caused ALOT of problems and I'm furious at my brother for it. At first she made me a villain, a co-conspirator to the other imaginary agents in her paranoid fantasy, but after a long time of that not working out so well for her, she slowly came back. We're not out of the woods yet, but I think, or am hopeful, that she isn't as consciouscly/subconsciously incentivized to chase these "narratives" as much. And I suspect, she as well as Terrence, know at some level that all these things are false... but there's pride, there's fear, and so many other aspects in a person that play in. There's a strange comfort thinking you're the only one who knows 1 X 1 = 2, or that imaginary people are zeroed in on YOU because you're special. Just be sure to let your father know that no matter what, you'll be there. But sometimes, I guess, that might not be enough. Goodluck.

Well it actually is. Quantum is basically the unseen. Same as what we refer to as the spiritual side of things. Quantum science will one day explain these things. It's the 2 sides of the same coin. One side of the coin is uknown. But one day we will bridge the physical with the spiritual and show that the spiritual side isn't "woo woo". One day we will find how they are both relative. Just because we don't see it doesn't mean it's not there.
@MarcinSzyniszewski21 сағат бұрын
@Jojo-u6c It's not the unseen. You can literally see the quantum effects with your own eyes: quantum dot monitors for example, or transistors, which are used in almost every electrical device nowadays. The colour of gold is what it is because of relativity and quantum effects. I can also literally see a red light of a toaster, which again is due to quantum mechanics. These are very tangible things that you can clearly see with your own eyes. Tell me one experiment I can do to show that anything "spiritual" exists. Although I'm a religious person, I recognise there's a difference between physics and metaphysics.

Dave, I can't describe how much I appreciate these videos. The age of misinformation and sensationalism has brought all these clowns to the forefront and the problem is that most sensible people can't possibly have the time or dedication to counter them. For these clowns, grifting and bs-ing is the main thing to do whereas debunking them is a side project for the rest of us. I love that these videos despite the views, are a minority among the educational content you put out on a regular basis. Keep going buddy. The sub increase of this channel isn't due to the educational content, it's due to Dave realizing a while ago that his grifter debunk videos were performing way better than his educational videos. He also realized that the meaner he was to the grifter(s) in such videos, the better the videos would perform. So Dave decided to shift the focus of the channel: less education, more insults and hate. That's when the sub count of this channel exploded. Most people didn't watch this video for the little educational value in it, they watched it for the insults and overall abusive tone. Compare the average number of views his educational videos have and the average number of views his grifter debunk videos have... it's pretty clear that most of those subs are only interested in insults and abuse. I wouldn't be so hopeful.
