Thanks for that! It's strange and sad that the natural spectrum of behaviour between spite and altruism isn't emphasised more often. From my experience, you tend to get people arguing about the existence and importance of one over the other. Like people who believe the term 'survival of the fittest' to mean that spiteful behaviour is natural and therefore always justified. And then there are others - like myself - who argue for the existence and importance of altruistic behaviour. It seems to me that if we were to understand that both behaviours are natural, then we can make a conscious choice as a species which one we'd like to aim for, whilst also perhaps having a little more understanding and compassion for the existence of spiteful or altruistic behaviours, depending on which we choose to aim for.

"Natural selection 'stumbled' upon..."? No, 'it' doesn't walk or stumble. I'm a (former Xtian) atheist and even thought, "Why not just say, 'God.'"? lol *I* know what you meant, but why give the creationists ammunition? Just saying... Good video, though, you cram a lot into a few minutes!
