We've got the layers of the ocean down, so now let's hit the ocean floor. What's down there? How do we know its topography? What is the abyssal plane? What is oceanic sediment made of? Let's answer all this and more!

2:05 "The abyssal plain is flat and featureless" So you're saying the abyssal plain...is plain. Thank you, thank you, I'll see myself out.

Hi professor Dave, nothing related to this video but I have a question about Quantum number in chemistry: 「Given that n=positive even integers, l=0,1,2,…,n-2,ml=+l or-l ms=+1/2 or-1/2 Assume that the Energy of the orbitals increases with n and then l, What would be the atomic number of the first 4 noble gases?」 How to solve this problem?

As I have Aphantasia it is harder for me to understand complex things (things that require someone to "see with their minds eye"). So I really appreciate your breakdown of things like this. Really cool.

Whenever I skip some videos of a certain playlist and then watch a later video on the same playlist, I feel like I'm skipping classes, but with no repercussions.

Seems like echo sounding equipment would effect sea life that is sensitive to sound. I am willing to venture, beaching of sea mammals is related to military operations shooting out powerful sonic waves in the ocean.
