Hello, I'm a medical student from the Catholic University in Leuven (Belgium). I started searching youtube to get some clear and correct information to refresh my embryology and I truly never saw a professor here teach the way professor Fink does, it is surely verry good explained and what a passion for the course! it starts at ampulla ( Fallopian tube) and ends in the uterus but there is no week 1 or at least a sight of pregnancy (ovulation occurs in week1 and not fertilization , whole process starts at week 2 ) there are two types of counting 1- embryonic age ( if u know the exact day of fertilization, u could start counting from it) 2-Gestational age ( its counting from last menstrual period ( count start after 14 days of the last menstrual period )) most practitioners use this method
