honestly, starkid is AMAZING at making small theaters the best place for their shows to be. I mean audience participation? using the isles as part of the environment? the fact that you can see the band just off stage into a meta joke? in TGWDLM having the middle isle be part of the stage? them also using the VERY FULL SEATING ROWS as an alleyway for characters to travel through? having a guy up in the catwalk talk to Zazz? I'm sure there's far more that I'm missing too! they're geniuses, I've never seen a production use their venue to their advantage so well and do it in every show they can
