it actually does, Sullivan's "Precalculus - Concepts through functions" book follows almost the same order and I'd say that is one of the books that the Prof. uses for his contents since I've stumbled upon some examples from the book that the Prof. used on his videos

I'm considering going back to school online for my job so I can move up. I have to pursue an engineering degree which involves calculus. Awesome video Prof! I have only one question: Solving an exponential equation doesn't give us anything valuable graphically? Because, solving an equation generally means finding what in its actual graph would be an x-int, what are we exactly finding with exp. equations? Just the value that makes the initial statement true?

What about fractional exponents? Doesn't 4 raised to 1/2 give both positive and negative 2? Is the range still (0, inf)?
