I’m watching all of your Calc 3 videos, and believe me when I say, it is a true honor to learn from someone who teaches math in such a complete way, I’ve always had trouble with teachers because they answered to my math questions with: “ Because the book says so” “Because it is that way”. Thank you for making me feel part of a class, especially during this rough times. I really dislike online classes but taking my time to learn from your videos is something that keeps my mind sane. Honestly thank you.

Professor Leonard, thank you for a plain and simple Introduction to Solving Logarithms and Exponentials. The examples really show the true relationship between Logarithms and Exponentials in mathematics.

Its simple. Professor Leonard posts a new video? I like it immediately

He really is the best professor I've seen thus far. I only wish he completed his ODE series and started/finished his linear algebra series but it is understandable he hasn't because of the amount of work it takes to make those videos.

Thank you so much for the gazillionth time for making a video. My textbook was so technical explaining logarithms, but you made it easy to understand!

Professor Leonard, when do you aim to cover trigonometry in this playlist? Kind regards, Greg.

Isn't it more pedagogical to explain it like you take the log on both sides or raising the exponent on both sides, and just keep everything the way it is?

so you're going to go over how to solve logs without talking about what logs are... great work "teaching". not sure why there are so many praises, this is insanity
@louisjruizmercado49666 ай бұрын
Maybe if you went back a couple videos in the same playlist, you would realize he did talk about what logs are -_-

This is a pre-calculus series, by this point you should be familiar with logs, if not you should go to his intermediate algebra playlist where he thoroughly explains logarithms. Also, in his video Introduction to logarithms, in this series, he gives a pretty good explanation of what they are and how they relate to exponents. If you're like me, and not great at logarithms, I definitely recommend his intermediate algebra videos, they are a simple introduction while this video is a little more advanced.
