I wish I could say I was a great father. But being a parent is by far the hardest challenge you can be faced with. So saying that before knowing the outcome is just a guess. I try my nest to help them, motivate them, and guide them, while leaving quite a bit of room for them to maneuver. So it’s hard to guess the outcome 🥴 But so far so good👍

I am sure this man was done with the “good” explanation he was getting in the school books(not always a teacher’s fault) and decided to save millions by explaining it the right and the smart way. Because this is what I have in my mind right, they could’ve make the explanation in my book so much easier and more accessible. Yet, after struggling on a new subject I have millions of way to explain it better when I find out how it works. Thank you!!!!!

I am hearing some very nice, positive comments on this thread about this instruction. Heueristic instruction seems to really work for people. What really makes this instruction mode "heueristic" is probably the ability for the student to 1) choose what they want to learn, and 2) be able to pause the video(s) if they come to a point they need to think about more.

This is waaaaay better than the confusing way the teach us at school. I'm neat the top of my class, and I normally struggle in math just because of common core. Thank you for non-confusing, short, and easy-to-understand math.

the equation at 8:29 has a long and a short method. You showed the short method, but the long method consists of log base 2 (x^2+4x)=log base 2 (5) put both terms on LHS log base 2 (x^2+4x) - log base 2 (5) = 0 using log laws log base 2 [(x^2+4x)/5)=0 2^0 = (x^2+4x)/5=1 x^2+4x=5 x^2+4x-5 = 0 simplify the quadratic (x+5)(x-1)=0 thus x= 1 or x= -5 this is a really useful video, no time wasting, just a plain black screen and coloured writing on it, practising log equations. Thanks mate.
