Differentiating between SATA, PATA, and SCSI was such a lifesaver for me!!

Love the BNC connection explained.

In high school my cabling teacher taught us that BNC was British Naval Connector and that's one of like 10 things I actually retained from school and now I just feel like my whole life has been a lie.

What school were you attending that had a cabling class?
@guyblack97294 жыл бұрын
@@paulsletten8985 i went to a magnet school that offered a lot of STEM classes including cabling, programming, electrical engineering, etc. Really makes me wonder where I'd be today if I actually cared and planned to live past 30 back then.

I think both names work. was just called something else in a different country or something. Mike Meyers definitely called it the British Naval Connector in his book, so there's that.

What does the RG mean?
@professormesser3 жыл бұрын
It's an old military abbreviation for "Radio Guide." That's not useful for an exam, but it's some interesting trivia.
