This video was recommended by my college Professor, Mrs. Debra Brest, and I'm studying to take my Comp TIA A+ Certification. I've been in construction my whole life and was in need of a career change at age 58! LOL Everybody things I'm crazy and maybe so but as it is I'm passing with a 3.3 GPA and am on schedule to graduate on June 30th, 2024 and today's May 28th 2024 but she thought this video would help out. So here I am and I want to wish everyone the best of luck and ask that we all remember "you're never to old for change." I'm living proof.

Great Study session and as always great advice for getting new job. It seems so simple but sometimes we overcomplicate things. Never had a "career" before and now i'm looking at jobs 1 or 2 levels above me and figuring out my education path forward. It's easier than I thought it would be before I started this journey.

If I'm starting right now, with zero experience, you recommend starting with the 008? I came across you on Reddit on how to get started in Cyber Security and trying to get as much education and certifications as possible by September 2022 as I'll be transitioning out of the military at that time. Thank you!!

007 and 008 are versions, so 007 will be obsolete in june 2022. I would recommend 008

@@alexcunn77 yeah that's what I was wondering. I'm a super fast learner and didn't know if I dedicated time to the 007 I'd have enough time overall to learn and take it.

Go with 008. I'm retiring in three months and buckling down to study. If you are eight months out you still have a little time before getting on your separation fast track. Focus on knocking out your vTAP requirements so when you get to separating it is a smooth sailing process.
