I was 14 years old & in class 9th when I heard that Indira Gandhi was shot dead. I had just come back from school. I remember having seen her in DS Grounds Bhusawal. We were a Congress family and she was like a grandmother for me. I felt sad about her death. After that there were riots against Sikh brothers and sisters. I felt very sad because I had so many good Sikh friends. I felt it was karma - if she would not have led to the blood shed at the Golden Temple of Amritsar, she would not have been assasinated. BJP and all Political Parties must learn from this - never to destroy any worship place - it is a meeting place for people of godly faith. We must respect all religions and treat all as equals - this is the true spirit of Secularism. Religion is a matter of personal choice and a direct relationship of the devotee with GOD ALMIGHTY. If GOD does not mind, then who are we to condemn anyone. GOD BLESS ALL!!!

What happened in 84 was not Riot. It was genocide. The reason why people were unhappy from operating blue star was because so many innocent pilgrims were killed.
