I use this method also when I have to sew two pieces that have seams that have to match up, like the skirt and bodice of a dress. Usually they are the same size but it happens sometimes that they are slightly different. I match the seams first and then pin the rest of the fabric in between. Now this is very logic but I remember when I was a beginner I didn’t know this and so many other things I learned along the way. :)

This was why I didn't do many garments that had sleeves, I always ended up with giant puckers in my fabric, now I am going to try this, I hope I can do it.😃

I used to not like setting in sleeves either buuuut once I really learned how, they go in so easy. I hate hemming though😜😜

You just saved 2 90 inch rows of pieced quilting where one row was 91 inches (give or take) with sashing and columns and tada, I was off about an 1 1/8 at the end. Went back and found the culprit block and eased it your way. Thank you!

I love the way you teach. All the other videos just play music and point I hate those. If it's possible can you make a video on how to make an umbrella dress, PLEASE.

Thank you! As a beginner at using patterns this is the first step in a few of the patterns I have. It made no sense to me until now. This is a confidence booster.

A helpful way of getting the pinned fabric to ease in is, when in the machine, grab the fabric edge with the right hand facing up, fabrics is secured by the thumb holding the fabric to the palm, then roll the hand with the thumb, securing the fabric, facing up. This works really well for me. Also works with different weights of fabric which feed thru the machine differently.
