Surface level analysis is WatchMojo’s entire brand. They cover as many media topics as they can write for with videos /just/ well written enough to speak with authority from the perspective of laypeople or casual hobbyists. I think it would be unrealistic to expect them to make any gaming content thats accurate from a high-skill point of view. All that being said i think the true value of videos like this is to get a window into the perspective of casual or average players and their experiences experimenting with the games mechanics. These folks aren’t thinking that hard about optimal pathing or perk synergy with killer powers. The fact they say with their whole chest that Meyers is in their top five faves might be downright comedy to most experienced players, but they’re experiencing this game on a more emotional and thematic level than us multi-thousand hour grinders. And in a way i think that’s beautiful.

If we're just talking about powers and not any loyalty to the source material, I don't really see any reason to play Demogorgon anymore now that Wesker is in the game. They have very similar powers, but Wesker is stronger and more satisfying with a higher skill ceiling. There's a reason why Demo is one of the game's least played killers.

@@cduhamel3412 Yeah Wesker doesn't have the portals, but the portals are super unreliable. You need to actually make a web of them first, and then survivors can shut them. At the end of the day, it's just a map traversal tool. Shred is the reason you play Demo, and Virulent Bound is just better than it. You can even use Virulent Bound for map traversal, which you can only do on Demo if you Shred off of a high place. The only thing Shred has over Virulent Bound is the ability to break pallets, but Wesker can do that too with an addon.

If we are talking jump scares usually people would give credit for that to ghost face or shape (w/ scratch & map off). Spirit is not good for jump scares as hens says you can literally hear when she is phasing and the direction she is phasing from. In the past spirit certainly could get a jump on survivors especially with certain add-ons it wouldn't be uncommon to see a survivor get yoinked off of gens and every pallet felt like a 50/50 if she had good add ons. She also could fake survivors into thinking she was using power and vaulting into her by just standing still as it was even hard to tell when she was using her power. All of this is no longer the case though as it has all been nerfed. She is still a strong killer but not exactly in the way she once was. Although I'm not sure I have any right to talk regarding a video on the most fun killers as for the longest time my favorite was the legion. I recently became fond of huntress and chucky but I do still play legion on occasion just not as much.

So its about fun to play and not strengh..As a doc main, i absolutely agree with his placement^^ Myers makes sense to me too, he is fun to play as - at least for me. If you "need" to "win" every game to have fun his power is not great, but i love to scare ppl more than getting 3k's (one "rule" for me is to let one live, except for archives). Spirit is my sec fav killer, i would agree with a high placement for her but its a bit tough for beginners 😅 Its unique and so satisfiying to get hits out of power and grabs^^ But first place? Nah, before the rework maybe but not anymore 😅 In terms of design and fun to play i would put unknown and dracula way higher 😄

Oni in 19 is absolutely abysmal, nothing compares to how crazy it feels to land a down with Blood Fury I wouldn't put Unknown in number 1 though, lately I've found he can be very frustrating since your previous shot frequently gets removed before you land a second one (certain loops will pretty much always deny a second hit) to inflict damage and it gets very obnoxious and wastes chase time.

I do understand the Nemi take since it is a " _Unique_ and fun" list. And as an idea, having these zombie NPC's for a killer roaming around the map to hinder and damage survivors is probably one of, if not *the* most unique aspects of any of the killers. obviously functionally they kind of suck 50%+ of the time which definitely loses some points for the fun factor, but it is incredibly unique and there's nothing else like it in DBD, so I can definitely understand the rationale of his placement. (If there is any Rationale and not just AI garbage lol)

@Professor Hens do you know if the unknown’s projectile is bugged because the past few nights I’ve been getting hit through walls. Example is I was looping shack and I was behind a wall with no holes or gaps and the unknown was on the opposite side of the wall and I got hit and downed from the projectile. This has happened several times over the past week. I thought the projectile was supposed to bounce off of the first thing hit and if it’s hitting the wall how is it always hitting me on the other side of the wall.
