Actuarial science certificates will definitely boost as it's not common and not easy . Try getting internships in your field to improve your profile . MBA with AS is a great boost if you want to be in financial and risk management field. Going for FRM in future post MBA could be a cherry on top. But don't try to do all at once . Judge yourself based on your capabilities and take informed decisions . As of now Just check your composite score for different IIMs based on their admission criteria. This will give a fair idea on your target score for CAT. Best of luck 💯

Definitely. And don't focus on the fact that 70 is Maxx one can get in grad. If they ask you can easily mention that in interviews to justify. For now focus on profile building. Do courses. Participate in club activities and try to get leadership roles in them. OBC NCL will definitely give an edge but never target less than 99. Best of luck 💯

Trying doing another internship alongside prep if not working. Decent acads and non engineer helps. Don't consider best of 5 ,always consider average. You can try to calculate your composite score for various IIMs from their admission criteria. This will give you a fair idea of the target CAT score and percentile . Target score and percentile. @@mamtasinghal4935 for some colleges grad marks are sacrosanct like imi Delhi, you'll be surprised to know that I didn't get the interview call from imi however I converted mdi gurgaon, imt Ghaziabad and some new and baby iims. Fortunately some premium colleges have removed the weightage of grad marks but if you have low marks you have to justify the reason for the same,as it happened with me in every interview I gave except imt Ghaziabad.
