One thing not mentioned here about the C4 driveside guard is that the jam nut for it is 4mm thicker than the original jam nut which makes it tight to get the hub back in the frame and if you have little tire clearance it can push your wheel off center enough to make your tire not clear the frame on the non driveside.

how do the elite cassettes hold up to using pegs with the female axels? Is it not advised?
@ProfileRacingOfficial Жыл бұрын
You can, as we offer an inner steel 3/8's axle BUT, if it's heavier peg use, we'd recommend the 14mm GDH axle.

So does the Aegis Rear drive side fit on the 3/8 or no?? Your site says yes but this video says no.

Unfortunately, they do not. Only on 14mm. I'll send a note to change the website description.

Handy to know tutorial. However, I recently contacted Source, regarding available guards for my Z-Coaster. Is it correct, there's not much in the way of protecting the Z coaster 10mm / female version?
@ProfileRacingOfficial Жыл бұрын
Actually, for the ZCoaster, we make a proprietary guard for the non-drive, and the C-4 drive side guard will work as well: The 3/8 version on the Z has the same jam nuts as the 14mm so you're all good!
