For vintage cards, you have to inspect the holo part really carefully. If there's any scratches or print lines they mark the grade down heavy.

Yea makes sense. Some of these low grades I can understand but there are a few that really don’t in my opinion so it might be fun to crack open some slabs and see what cgc says even if I’m wrong about it.

Vintage cards are really really hard to get high grades in as the foil scratches etc so easily and it's practically impossible to see with the naked eye. So gorgeous cards though and huge congrats on the moon 😍

I think most of the time what discounts vintage are scratches and indents on the back of the card only visible under light at a certain angle. Solid return!

I sent in a Japanese Fossil Mew...i examined in with a magnifying glass multiple times and it doesnt have a single flaw in it anywhere so i knew it would come back a 10...nope came back an 8! Im definitely cracking it and getting it re-graded

@@PokiLiss ya, your video though maybe you're new to the grading game has given good insight towards beginner graders. I've watched grading videos since about right when the pandemic craze started and I was very optimistic but I just missed out and it seems it was good because after gathering more info maybe some of the cards I expect in higher grades won't happen. I'll submit my first submission soon. Hopefully my childhood cards can get at least fair grades
